ABQ are an Indie Rock four-piece hailing from Belfast, Northern Ireland. The members met whilst studying Music technology in Belfast and started playing together through a shared interest in similar artists. They are fronted by Paul Shevlin, winner of the BPI / BRIT sponsored ‘Next Brit Thing’ who provides a distinctive and memorable vocal for this impassioned young band.
Having released 5 singles to date, ABQ concentrate their efforts on making catchy, anthemic music which has recieved praise from several publications and radio stations (as detailed below).

Over the last few years the band have been focusing on playing shows around London and building a catalogue of anthemic, ear worm singles. After having crafted their live show with performances at The Great Escape, Liverpool Sound City, UK supporting tours for The Rocket Summer and a host of London headline shows, ABQ have become a professional outfit.
ABQ have worked with several high profile producers and writers including Ben Langmaid (La-Roux), Alex Davies (Elliot Minor, Frances, Kodaline) Ben Mark (Mark Owen, Take That) and Paul Whalley (Nao, Wretch 32, Nina Nesbit).
