Mumford & Sons announced as Victorious 2023 headliners

Tuesday 7th, 2023

Victorious Festival has announced that Mumford & Sons will be the final headline act for the upcoming summer event.

The festival is scheduled to take place on the Southsea seafront in Portsmouth from August 25-27. Jamiroquai and Kasabian have already been announced as the headliners for Friday and Saturday, respectively.

The festival lineup is packed with other amazing performers including Alt-J, Johnny Marr, Pale Waves, Blossoms, Friendly Fires, Sigrid, Belle & Sebastian, Annie Mac, The Coral, Kate Nash, and The Vaccines.

Organisers confirmed that Mumford & Sons will close out the festival's main stage on Sunday, August 27, with a UK exclusive show. Lead Booker Andy Marsh expressed his excitement and said the show is going to make for a fantastic finale.

Mumford & Sons last performed in the UK in 2019, and since then, their banjoist/guitarist Winston Marshall has left the band. Frontman Marcus Mumford has released his debut solo record, toured the project across the UK and North America, and teased the band's fifth album in November last year.
